One of the greatest toy shops in London is Hamley’s and they’ve now got themselves a nice website up and running to compliment the mad and wonderful experience of their regent street flagship store. So what are the likely contenders for christmas presents for your beloved youngsters….
Star Wars toys at Hamleys g(16445864)a(1557149))
is a good place to start. Lots of good stuff here and the release of Clone Wars certainly seems to have raised the profile of the Star Wars brand amongst younger children who may or may not have come across the original trilogy (of the prequels). There’s a very good value Star Wars Lightsabre at Hamleys for only £7.99 at the moment. Santa paid quite a bit more for one for my son last year, shall we say.
Another toy that’s sure to be popular this christmas for boys AND girls, are the Wall-E toys at Hamleys. The film is brilliant and kids seem to really love him, it’s reinvented that E.T. experience for todays younger generation.
If you’re looking for something a bit more intellectual for your Jr einstein’s, they also have a very impressive range of Science Toys including all sorts of experiments and equipment. I particularly like the Astrolon Telescope which is good value for £29.99 and will surely fascinate your children for years.
