More traditional toy ideas for those parents who haven’t been taken in by the relentless march of the Nintendo marketing campaign. The Gifted Goat is a great site selling a huge range of interesting and unusual toys including many traditional and wooden toys. In particular, they do a very nice range of Wooden Doll’s houses which are much nicer than the plastic efforts found in most high street stores. Another toy that every small child shouldn’t be without (when they are somewhere around 2 years old at least) are Rocking horses and other animals. Of course, you could always make one yourself, but they you might be putting Santa out of a job!
